Vowel length in Friulian verbs: a case of mora affixation

This paper deals with vowel length in Friulian, and shows that this is sometimes phonologically predictable an instance of mora affixation conjugation 1 verbs. Building on newly collected data verbal morphology, we make the hypothesis Theme morpheme verbs dialect Negrons has distinct allomorphs, among which a mora. analysis morphological Friulian there no need for morphome-based data.
